Ancient Words For Today - Psalm 55:22

The terrorist attack in Boston killed 3 and injured almost 200 others gathered to enjoy the marathon and encourage their family and friends
who were competing. Certainly they were not expecting the terrible event that ensued or the suffering and grief that so many have been left with
in the aftermath. Let’s pray for physical healing for those who were injured, and for comfort and peace for them and the families of those who
were injured and died in this attack. Let’s also pray that as people are searching for answers in light of this attack, God will turn around
the horror of this event to draw people to Himself.

Terrorist attacks and other evil doings are becoming more common in the world and in our country. Serious trouble, and even death, can
impact all of our lives without any prior warning. It is important, therefore, for us to be spiritually ready to meet the LORD GOD.
We can be ready by having a right relationship with God through our personal faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who died to
pay the penalty for our sins, and who alone can reconcile us to God. When we come to God, He will comfort us in our grief and sustain us
through our burdens and during our times of need.
