Ancient Words For Today - Zephania 3:17
Knowing that our Father in Heaven rejoices over His children, in spite of our flaws and imperfections, brings me great joy. We are told to "look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (See Hebrews 12:2). Jesus told His followers to "rejoice because their names are written in heaven." (see Luke 10:20)
Reflecting on these amazing truths, how can we not be joyful?
