Often when we pray, we ask God to provide the necessities of life, and then add to our requests those things we think are needed to make our life easier, happier, more content and peaceful. But God knows our real and innermost needs much better than we do, and answers our prayers accordingly. When the disciples asked Jesus how they should pray, He said; “Your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. Matthew 6:9-13 (NLT)

God does not always grant all things we think we need and ask for. But He always provides what we really need, and gives us wisdom,
